Read-only commands, analyst_l2, a call budget with an order, and the Static lessons: ids copied from answers only, timestamps passed as given, names over ids, one variant at most on error. Each sheet passes Riposte's validator; none is field-tested yet. Each integration gets a patch bump. Anything Mimecast message tracking can answer about an email: which
messages a sender sent to which recipients, when, with what subject, how
the gateway processed and delivered each one, whether one is held for
review, and the original URL behind a Mimecast-rewritten link. Not for
releasing, rejecting or remediating messages, not for block/permit lists,
not for other gateways' messages.
needs: |
The Riposte alert id, or the sender and/or recipient address and the
subject. A time window (start and end) when known.
returns: |
Facts from Mimecast, each with the command that produced it: matching
messages (sender, recipients, subject, time, status), the processing and
delivery details of each, held messages, decoded URLs; "not found" when a
search came back empty; the exact call and error when one failed. No
verdict.

instructions: |
Your budget is 10 calls. Spend it in this order:
1. get_incident_context (1 call): the Riposte alert. Take the sender,
recipient, subject, time and URLs from its source_ref and raw fields.
2. search_messages (1-2 calls): from = sender, to = recipient, subject
when known. Give at least one of from / to. start and end are ISO-8601
timestamps: pass them exactly as the data gives them, never compute a
date. Without them, say in your answer that no window was given.
If nothing matches, try once with fewer filters (drop subject).
3. get_message_info (at most 4 calls): message_id is the tracking id the
search answer returns for that message. Copy it from that answer only;
the internet Message-ID header (<...@...>) is NOT that id and fails.
Report the delivery route, the processing verdicts and the final
status as the answer states them.
4. decode_url (1 call per URL, at most 2) for links rewritten by Mimecast
(protect-*.mimecast.com).
5. ALWAYS call list_held_messages once (admin true, limit 100): is the
same sender or subject held for other recipients? Look in the answer
yourself; it has no filter.
6. Same sender elsewhere: one more search_messages with from = sender
only, to list the other recipients.
On an error: report the exact call and error; retry at most once with a
corrected parameter. An empty result is "not found", not an error.
